Despite being in this section, what follows is not a Travel Guide per se, and not even a Micro one at that.
No, our 4th trip to Rome was only 3 nights and this time, more about where we could get a nonstop flight home to SFO at the end of a mostly Lake Garda- and Dolomites-focused trip. And with only 2 full days available, not even I would pretend to offer anything comprehensive with that little time. Lastly, it’s been 9 years since our last visit, so drawing upon our past experiences wouldn’t provide much value, either.
Instead, I will note some cool - and one decidedly not cool - things from our visit in September of 2024. Oh, and don’t miss today’s companion piece, my An Atheist’s Photos of Rome Churches.
